Celebrate the 19th Annual Mike the Headless Chicken Festival
This festival is dedicated to the amazing story of one chicken’s will to live
The 5k run/walk begins at 9 am at the Fruita Civic Center, 325 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita, CO. Early registration is $25. The fee increases by $5 for late registration. Preregister online (miketheheadlesschicken.org), by mail, or in person at the Fruita Community Center. Race day registration is from 7-8:30 am at the Fruita Civic Center.
Participants will receive a custom technical run tee (guaranteed to first 400 registered participants), refreshments, and are encouraged to stick around for live music, vendors, poultry show, car show and more!
This event is presented by the City of Fruita.
