Help Michael raise money

For participating in Growling Beaver 2017

My Story…

Dear family, friends and colleagues, As some of you may know, I will be returning to participate in the 100km cycling brevet in Collingwood, Ontario on September 30 called The Growling Beaver. The Growling Beaver Brevet is an amazing event to help people with Parkinson’s live well today. All fundraising proceeds will go to support the joint work of the Davis Phinney Foundation and ParkinGo Wellness Society. The ride is especially significant to me as it is organized by my friend, the President & CEO of CMHC, Evan Siddall. Three years ago, Evan began to notice that his left hand would shake when he yawned and left leg began to flex when he was cycling. He was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease last year, and is now on medication to control his symptoms. Evan is an avid cyclist and will be participating in the 200km ride. Such an event will help those, like Evan who live with Parkinson's on a daily basis. Thank you for your support!
