St. Alexander School is hosting its 4th Annual 5k Raider Run/Walk on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. This fun-filled event is a great opportunity to get fit with your family and friends and spend time together.
This important fundraiser will raise money for Phase II of our Applied Tech Lab commonly known as the S.T.E.M. Lab (science-technology-engineering-math). Last year, we were fortunate enough to raise $27,000 to update the Lab and purchase 9 new modules. We are hoping with your support and generosity, we can complete Phase II and purchase 7 new modules and additional software to help our students stay on the cutting edge of technology.

Event Details
The 5k Raider Run/Walk starts and finishes at the St. Alexander parking lot. The 5k course, which is 3.1 miles, runs through the beautiful streets of Palos Heights and is USATF certified. The top 3 overall male and female runners will receive a prize.
Race entry of $28 includes: bib, performance fit T-shirt and post race snacks. Day-of registration will increase to $30. Sign up now before increase!
Pre-race packet pickup will be Tuesday, May 9 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Running for Kicks, located at 7158 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights. Race day packet pickup and day-of registration will be from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. at St. Alexander School.
Kids 6 & under can participate in a 100-yard dash on the football field. This event is free for the kids and encourages them to "run" like mommy and daddy. Please note a T-shirt is not included unless you register for the 5k Run/Walk.
