It is difficult enough when someone you love becomes ill, but when the diagnosis is a disease so rare that most medical professionals will never see a case of it in their careers, it is devastating. Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) is a demyelinating disease that affects the central nervous system and can cause temporary and/or permanent blindness and paralysis. Today there is no cure. Rare diseases like NMO lack public funding and resources to find a cure. We have made it our mission to change that for NMO patients worldwide. Please give today and help us provide hope for a better future for those living with NMO. Funds raised will be invested in research that will lead to better treatments and ultimately a cure.
