Join the Saskatchewan Marathon Volunteer Race Crew.  We cannot do it without you! 

More than 400 volunnteers are needed over our race weekend to support 4,000+ runners, their family and friends, as well as spectators and media. Be a part of Saskatchewan running history and experience the excitement! Keep Calm and Shine ON -- Be an ambassador for our city.

3. There is a drop down menu from which to choose your volunteer spot.

4.  Complete the entire online form.  To select multiple jobs, use the orange [Add Another Volunteer] button.

5. You can register yourself and others!

The system will send a confirmation email, which contains a link to your online dashboard of all job details.

Information Kiosk (SRRA tent) is at entrance of Expo area.

Help answer questions about the race or courses.

You must either be a SRRA member or have marathon running experience.

Pasta Dinner Ticket Taker

Help take tickets at entrance to the Pasta Dinner. 

Also manage people flowing into the dining room from nearby expo area.

Help set-up the Village Finish line area in Diefenbaker Park (St Henry Ave entrance).

Duties may include: put up fencing and signage, assemble start gate, pop-up tents, arrange tables, etc.

Patrol designated area to help participants on the course with injuries, or notify aid stations of situation, etc...

Experienced individual to lead Finish Line volunteers, and manage activities in this area.

If interested, please email racedirector@saskmarathon.ca to discuss the necessary skills or past experience.

Roller Derby League

This group will help ensure safety of participants, and are supplied with a map and safety vest.

Placed near key traffic areas along the course to help direct participants and vehicles.

Must be over 15 years of age.

Help place kilometer/mile markers, course  signage, barricades and cones.

Pick up remaining supplies from Water Aid Stations.

Remove kilometre/mile markers, course signage, barricades and cones.

Cyclists are also welcome to help!

Food Tent

Help with setup of the Participant Food Tent.

Duties include keeping area tidy, distribute beverage and food items as participants finish.

Pack up remaining food at the end.

Tent is not for spectators and may need to direct Marafun to own food area.

Cyclist to either lead or follow participants through the MARAFUN course.

Help ensure all reach the finish line.

Scan bib number with a portable hand device, as finishing participants enter tent.  A screen displays result.

Training is provided.  If technical issues, direct people to view printed results at Information Tent.

Exclusive group of Water truck drivers and helpers.

Help deliver water jugs, supplies, and tables to various Aid Station locations.

Driver needs to handle cube van (3 ton  truck) and able to backup.

They also may be asked to help on Saturday or Friday as required.

Winner Circle Support

Provide support during the various race award ceremonies, at the Winner Circle Area.

Must be over 15 years of age.

Yoga Registration Table
