Join us on Saturday morning, June 3 for the 6th annual Cougars 5K Run/Walk: Honoring First Responders! Held at the Cougars' home at Northwestern Medicine Field, participants will cross the finish line at home plate and see themselves on our giant videoboard! 5K participants registered through May 24 are guaranteed a great race Tech shirt featuring our new 5K logo! Participants 21 and older can enjoy a complimentary beer, as well as a brat or hot dog along with other great post-race snacks for all participants! All 5K participants will also receive one undated ticket voucher for a 2017 game.

We are once again holding our Cougars Inside the Park dash - a roughly half-mile fun run. Children through the age of 12 can participate and high-five Ozzie and Annie at the home plate finish line! Registration is only $5! Make it a day for the entire family!
In the 5K the top 3 finishers in 14 age groups receive a custom Cougar medal. Runners and walkers, families with strollers....all are welcome! Pre race packet pick up on Friday, June 2 from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the stadium. Race day packet pick up and registration opens at 6:45 on race morning. Youth dash will start immediately after the completion of the 5k (approximately 9:00-9:15). Ages 12 & under for youth dash.
Oh yes...did we mention free and convenient parking? Close proximity to restrooms at the start line? Enjoy great amenities and one of the most unique 5K events held in Chicagoland!
A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Tri Cities (Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles) Fire and Police Departments, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office and Forest Preserve District of Kane County.
