Greenswell Running and Walking Club

The Greenswell Running and Walking Club is open to all runners and walkers of all abilities. There is no pace requirement although the focus is on the average runner and walker and not elite runners. The club is not a training group.

The purpose of the club is to support Central-Ohio based charities 5K-10Ks to promote the benefits of running and walking as a means of physical fitness.

The Club will be community minded and participate in various races regardless of the event affiliation.

Club details:

• Open to walkers and runners of all abilities, focus on middle and back of pack abilities
• Team members get discounted race entries into certain designated events that include all race organizers who participate.
• $30 membership Fee gets: Not a training club or group training program
  • Discounts in named races
  • Special discounts at RoadRunner Sports (15-25%)
  • Other discounts TBD from other partners and community partners
  • Club gatherings at events with food, snacks, drinks and tent
  • Club technical shirt or singlet
• Club member obligation:
  • Participate or volunteer to support as many events as your schedule allows from a specific group of named events.
  • Be ambassadors for the Central Ohio running and walking community
  • Support the partners to the club through patronage and word of mouth

  • Membership limited to 25-30 runners and walkers
  • Membership fee used for club-related expenses (Food, drink, social gatherings, tent, and other)
  • Season starts April 1, 2017 – January 1, 2018
