The R.A.C.E. Run
Race for Awareness, Courage and Empowerement was born from the idea of a 13 year old girl, Fleur O'Connor. Fleur wanted to sponsor a young runner from Kenya to come to Halifax and participate in the Bluenose Marathon Weekend, experience life in Halifax, and take home inspiration and empowerment to her home town of Iten, Kenya. Through fundraising and a family initiative, this dream is closer to coming true. Join us as a family or cheer on the runners in your family in an event that will bring two girls, two continents closer together.

Parking - Shakespeare By the Sea Parking Lot/Lower Parking Lot, Point Pleasant Park
The R.A.C.E. Run will start and finish at the entrance to the park just next to the Shakespeare By the Sea Bdlg.
NO EARLY BIB PICK UP
BIB and CHIP PICK-UP will be Sunday morning on RACE DAY
9:00 am - 10:15 am
Please come no later than 10:15 a.m. to pick up.
*Prize for the largest family participation! Bring your Aunties, Grandfathers, Mom, Brothers, etc!
*Bragging rights for fastest time.
