Help Fill A Dream

Help Fill A Dream provides hope, help and happiness for Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands’ children under the age of 19 with life-threatening conditions by fulfilling their Dreams, improving their Quality of Life and assisting their families with care and financial support.

Dreams come in all shapes and sizes. A child’s dream may be a trip to Disneyland or to meet their favourite celebrity or sports figure; while for their parents, the Dream may simply be to spend time with their child as they undergo medical treatment or to make life more comfortable when they come home.

Hospital social workers and other health care professionals often connect us to children and families in need but we also accept requests from the general public who know of a child or family personally. A medical letter outlining the child’s needs should accompany the request.

For the families of children with life-threatening conditions, every day is a struggle. For our dedicated volunteers and supporters, every day is an opportunity to help make the impossible, possible.
