2017 — 8th ANNUAL School's Out Andrew High School 5K Run/Walk — Race Roster

Join us for Andrew’s 8th Annual 5K Run/Walk! We are excited to announce some new changes to our event this year. We have a new route that will allow us to run in the streets. Our runners and walkers will now have more room to get that PR they are hoping for! In addition, our race will now be timed. Results will be available after the race and online. Prizes will be given to top overall female and male runners.

Each participant will still receive a raffle ticket with registration. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each or 6 for $5 on the morning of the race. Winners are pulled during the race and you may claim your prize after you finish.

Online registration is available through May 20th. Same day registration is available starting at 7:45AM. T-shirts are only guaranteed if you register by May 7th.

What do we run for?

Victor J. Andrew Wellness Committee is a proud supporter of Dr. Kelly Ludwig

Who was Kelly? He was many things: Orland Park resident; Providence graduate; State Champion wrestler. He was a Science teacher at Lincoln-Way, and a Department Chair at Lincoln-Way and VJA. He was VJA’s Associate Principal from 2006 to 2008. He was a husband, father, a great friend to many, and a mentor to all. Kelly passed away suddenly, from heart failure, on June 7th, 2008. He was 46.

Kelly loved laughter, loved helping others, and most of all, loved teaching. He really cared about students. Every year, scholarships are awarded in his name to VJA and Providence students with B-averages who are pursuing science-based studies. The Victor J. Andrew Wellness Committee is proud to support this fund.

Proceeds will go to the Dr. Kelly Ludwig Foundation and Andrew Wellness events/ student scholarship
