Flat Rock Brook's 6th Annual 5K Run

Flat Rock Brook will hold its annual 5K “Run in the Wild” trail run on August 6th. The run begins at our visitor center and after a short street run enters the shaded and forested trails of our 150-acre preserve. The run provides participants with the uncommon experience of trail running through a nature preserve.
Benefitting:
Proceeds benefit Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, a non-profit preserve and environmental education center. Registration fees are considered donations and are not refundable.
Exclusions:
Please note, this is a Trail Run with Rough Terrain in some spots. Due to insurance and safety requirements, dogs, bicycles, skateboards, baby strollers, baby joggers, roller skates and roller blades are prohibited on trails.
Race Information:
All Pre-registrants have to be there by 8:00am to pick up bibs and T-Shirts. Runners signing up the day of the race must register between 7-8 a.m.;
Race Day Registration add $5 per person.

I thought it was a wonderful event! The volunteers and staff were helpful and enthusiastic, and the course was very pretty! It was a really nice event. I will definitely return next year and bring friends!

- Adult (ages 18 +) registration is $25 per runner, or $30 on the day of the event.
- Student (ages 12-17) registration is $20 per runner, or $25 on the day of the event.
All pre-registered runners receive a “Run in the Wild” t-shirt and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in various age categories.
Proceeds from the run support our preservation and education mission.
Our 5K is sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association.

Who We Are...
Flat Rock Brook is a 150-acre nature preserve and environmental education center in Englewood, NJ, just two miles from the George Washington Bridge. Visit our 3.6 miles of self-guided forested hiking trails that lead to a cascading stream, wetlands, pond and meadows. Register for one of our environmental programs for schools or the public and learn about our natural world. Come explore and learn with us!
