Join us on April 23th in Patterson Park for the fifth annual #JP5K! Come out for a fun run/walk in the park followed by lunch. This run was created in memory of John Petrovick to focus on raising much-needed funds for Dr. Q's Quest, Mission Brain, in support of brain cancer research.
John's motto, Inside All of Us is Hope, was worn proudly in each race he ran and we hope that you will join us, as we continue to search for a cure and celebrate John’s life.

Fifth Annual John Petrovick 5K
On April 28th, 2012, John Petrovick passed away after fighting a courageous battle with brain cancer. This race was started by John's friends and family as a way to come together to remember John, take part in one of his favorite activities (running), and raise awareness and funds for Dr. Q's Research. Proceeds will be donated to Mission Brain, Dr. Q's research fund.
John loved life. He enjoyed hiking, snowboarding, cooking, and loved dogs. He was an avid runner, running in many races and marathons where he was a champion for brain cancer research. John's motto, Inside All of Us Is Hope, was worn proudly in each race. Most of all, John loved his family and friends.
