7th ANNUAL 5K RUN/WALK FOR CHILDREN ROCKLAND COUNTY!

Join us on July 22nd for an event for the whole family. Support safe and happy childhoods for all Rockland's children. This event features a 5K Run/Walk race as well as a Kids Fun Run. Prizes will be given to the overall male & female, top runners in each age category, top 3 walkers and the participant or fundraising team that raises the most donations. Food and refreshments will be provided.

All proceeds will support Mental Health Association
of Rockland' s family and children's programs.

The race route goes throught the local neighborhood behind Cherry Lane Elementary School. Roads are closed to traffic. While most of the course is flat there are a couple of short uphills. We made the course so the longer hills are on the down side. Here is a link to a map and description of the course.

Note: The road map mileage 2.9 but we utilize the school property to add the additional .20 to complete the 5K route.

This year we would like to show our support of People to People Food Pantry. People to People Food Pantry is Rockland's largest food pantry. Every month they provide hundreds of food packages to families in every town, village and hamlet in Rockland County.

Please join us in our support of this family caring Not for Profit agency by bringing a nonperishable food item to donate on race day. They accept items such as pasta, pasta sauce, rice, canned soups & vegetables, tuna fish, peanut butter & jelly, hot & cold cereal. macaroni & cheese.
