The Calumet City Lions Club has raised money to serve blind and visually impaired individuals within the community for 75 years. While our mission states that we also serve individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing, our primary focus has been with the blind and visually impaired for quite some time. Recently, we have decided to extend our reach to those individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing within the community.
All proceeds from the Running With the Lions 5k will benefit the Calumet City Lions Club's future programs to benefit the Deaf and hard of hearing.
