Halifax Independent School’s Ocean Breeze Trail Run offers runners the unique opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a trail run without having to partake in specific trail run training. Hosted at the immaculately maintained Atlantic View Trail, runners who are new to trail running will find an easy transition from traditional paved surfaces to this spacious, crusher-dust surface.

Two Timed Events
The Gale: 5 km run, Start Time: 9:05 am
The Hurricane: 10 km run, Start Time: 9:00 am
Registration Fees for these two, timed, events will include the following:

Two Untimed Events
The Zephyr: 2 km kids run (12 years of age and under), Start Time: 10:30 am
The Breeze: 5 km walk, Start Time: 9:05 am
Registration Fees for these two, non-competitive, events will include everything on the list above, with the following changes:
- cotton shirt
- not officially timed

Run from Afar: If you are unable to join us to take part in the Ocean Breeze Trail Run, register to "Run from Afar"! You will be mailed a registration package*, including a t-shirt that you can wear while running along with us from anywhere in the world on Saturday, September 30th. *Packages for Canadian registrations made by September 4th will be guaranteed to arrive by Saturday, September 30th. Sorry, no guarantee for international shipping. Please note that, due to shipping allowances, the listed t-shirt guarantee does not apply to the RFA. T-shirts will be distributed by sizes on a "first registered, first served" basis, so sign up early to ensure you get exactly what you want!!
