Join us in Argyll Park on Sunday, June 11, 2017 for a run or walk through Mill Creek Ravine to celebrate our diverse community and raise funds for the newly created Edmonton Pride Run Endowment, followed by a free BBQ sponsored by Team Edmonton.
This year we have expanded to three events: a non-competitive 3 KM walk, a 5 KM run/walk, and a 10 KM run.

About the Edmonton Pride Run & Walk
The Edmonton Pride Run & Walk, established in 2015, is a volunteer-led non-profit event with the following goals:
- To promote the diversity of the Lesbian—Gay—Bisexual—Trans-identified—Two-spirit—Queer (LGBTQ) community and its allies.
- To increase access to fitness within the LGBTQ community by organizing an annual event that welcomes everyone.
- To raise funds for the Edmonton Pride Run Endowment.
The Pride Run takes place each year during the Edmonton Pride Festival, and is truly for everyone. Whether you are an advanced runner or just want to enjoy a leisurely walk in the river valley with family or friends, we encourage you to participate!

Edmonton Pride Run Endowment
This year, we are excited to announce that proceeds and donations from the Pride Run will be contributed to the newly created Edmonton Pride Run Endowment at the University of Alberta's Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS). The fund will create a lasting financial legacy by providing a source of stable funding to further the work, research, and programs of the Institute, which endeavours to improve the lives of the LGBTQ community locally, nationally, and internationally.

The University of Alberta will issue tax receipts for all donations made to the Edmonton Pride Run Endowment.
