They've gathered together to say goodbye to summer break, and to let the world know what they're all about.
So come out and join in the celebration, Newtown is an Awesome Dog Park...so if you've got a pooch...bring them along:-) Tech shirts & great award medals to the top the overall M/F, overall master's M/F, overall Grand Master's M/F, overall Sr. master's M/F, and the top 3 in all the regular 5 year age groups. Awesome course that's fast & scenic and all in the park.

- Race day registrations are welcome for $10 additional
**If you come on race day to register, please arrive closer to registration opening so we can be sure to get you squared away with plenty of time.
Event Beneficiary
At RedTeam GA, we strive to enhance the style of living in the community around us. Whether that mean volunteering at our local food banks or raising money for research on medical illnesses, we are there to support. As time went on, we grew our team to members who had the same drive for a better community as we did, and together we formed what is now known as RedTeam GA.
RedTeam GA is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhance the style of living in the community around us. RedTeam GA's inaugural Red Race 5K Run and Walk will be held on August 12th, 2017 in Newtown Park. The proceeds from the race will go to American Cancer Society.
Course & Timing
We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. It's not to hilly, and it's pretty…The entire course is inside the park, so it's super kid friendly.

- Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups 10 & Under through 75+

Five Star Championships & Turkey Trot
- Top finishers to earn a spot in the championships to be held in Dec. 2017. The number of spots available is based on the total registration.
- All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. see event website for details.
Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
- Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
- All registrations are final, and there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
