The Dunsmuir Railroad Days River Run includes 2 and 5 mile races. Both courses begin in the historic railroad town of Dunsmuir and follow scenic routes along the Sacramento River with occasional views of Mount Shasta and Castle Crags. Runners will encounter short hills on both courses.
Both races start at 8:00, June 10th on Dunsmuir Ave at Castle St. in Dunsmuir.
Special trophies with a railroad theme will be awarded to the top male and female runner in each race. Unique custom ribbons will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age division.
The 2-mile race is especially popular for families and a great opportunity to start young runners.

Early registration ($15/person) ends on May 31st. Late registration fees after May 31st go up to $20/person. Raceday registration will be available for $20 starting at 7:00a.m. Online registration will close at the end of the day on June 9th.

Directions:
From southbound Interstate 5 - take Exit #730 ("Central Dunsmuir") and turn left across the long bridge. Continue under the freeway and follow Dunsmuir Ave. to downtown Dunsmuir.
From northbound Interstate 5 - take Exit #730 ("Central Dunsmuir") and turn right. Follow Dunsmuir Ave. to downtown Dunsmuir.
If you encounter road closures due to the event, turn right for one block and continue along Shasta Ave. You should find ample parking along Shasta Ave.
