Volunteers in Medicine 5K
June 2nd UPDATE: ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 3:00pm EST TODAY!
Underwritten by SunTrust Bank, and sponsored by March Adams & Associates Engineering Consultants, The Hawks Group, and J103, the 2nd Annual Volunteers in Medicine 5k Run and Walk will be hosted at Camp Jordan. Tee shirts, finisher medals for all participants, and awards for the Top 3 male and female finishers! The race start will be cool at 7:30 and the course is flat and fast so you can achieve that 5K PR! Keep in mind this is NOT a certified course.
NOTE: Course change on May 23rd, the course will now have an out and back across the foot bridge through the paved trails to the levee. That portion of the course is nearly all shaded!
On-site registration and packet pick-up will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 4:30pm - 7:30pm and again on Saturday, June 3rd from 6:00am - 7:00am at the Amphitheater in the back of the park.
This race is held to support the services offered by Volunteers in Medicine, a free health clinic for low-income, uninsured residents of Hamilton and surrounding counties.
