Participate as a team of 2 in the Hants County Hillbilly Challenge on Saturday, September 23, 2017. This event takes place during the second weekend of the 252nd Hants County Exhibition and is sure to be a hillbilly good time!
Participants will be required to complete several tasks throughout the day(11am-6pm) to qualify for the grand prize. The main event will take place at the Exhibition Arena and will have teams taking part in challenges such as partner carry, wheelbarrow weave races, hay bale carry, square dancing, and "horse" racing! All participants MUST compete the arena challenge in rubber boots! Costumes are encouraged and a prize will be awarded for the best one!
There will be a corporate/business category, a student (must be 16+) category, and a general category. Prizes will be awarded for the winners in each category.

Thank you for registering to take part in the Hants County Hillbilly Challenge!
Your registration fee includes your admission to the Exhibition. Please bring your Race Roster confirmation with you to the gate. You will then proceed to the office (big sign indicating office)in the red brick building to the left of the gate/arena parking lot where you will receive your Hillbilly Challenge package.
You will receive a task card listing various items you need to complete prior to the arena challenge check-in at 6pm. You have from gate opening at 11am until 6pm to complete these tasks. To be eligible for the grand prize you must complete these tasks. If you choose to participate in the arena challenge only, you may do so knowing you only qualify for some prizes. We invite you to enjoy the day at the Hants County Exhibition and invite your friends and family to join you!.
You and your teammate are encouraged to compete wearing costumes (a prize will be awarded for the best one) but rubber boots are required. You are also encouraged to rehearse a square dance (a prize will be awarded for the one judged best) and to train for the other events, as well. Please share your training photos or videos on social media using #HillbillyChallenge.
Please arrive to check-in for the arena challenge by 6pm on September 23rd.
