Far East Pulse is an initiative by the Far East District of Seventh Day Adventist Tobago to promote health and wellness through sporting activities, exercise and nutrition to encourage its membership and the wider community to be physically active. All persons are invited. The event is a Triathlon Relay which includes approximately 13.5K run, 1250m swimming, 6K cycling and an obstacle course.
The triathlon is a team event. A team comprises of four (4) persons. Team members have a chance to hand over the baton to other team members at specially marked zones, a total of three times. Teams can strategize when and if they choose to do a baton hand over. However, once the baton is hand over the person handing over the baton cannot take back the baton except at the obstacle course leg; or unless in the rare case where an individual is injured.

Route Map
The race starts with a run from Speyside to Kendel Swimming Pool, followed by 20 laps in the swiming pool; then a bike ride from Kendel Swimming Pool to Roxborough Sporting Complex, where the obstacle course is performed.
