YMCA Fredericton Kids of Steel Triathlon!
Killarney Lake June 17
Kids from 4-14 are invited to come out and test their metal
Bike check and check in starts at 8AM
Events start @ 9AM - youngest first
Event will be over by 11AM
Ribbons/Medals will be awarded to all participants
DISTANCES
U6 - swim(less than) 50m - bike(less than) 1.5km - run(less than) 500m
4-5 splash and dash
6-7 - swim 50m - bike 1.5km - run 500m
8-9 - swim 100m - bike 5km - run 1km
10-11 - swim 200m - bike 5km - run 2km
12-14 - swim 300m - bike 10km - run 3km
*Distances are aproximate, but close.
*Kids U6 will not have to swim and will only be in water up to their necks.
*Bike course is crusher dust trail around Killarney lake. Any bike will work.
*Run course is around playground area on grass surface.
$10 per participant
