Kids Marathon
Join us on Saturday, December 10th as we kick off race weekend with the Baylor Scott & White Health Plan BCS Kid’s Marathon.
The 1.2 mile race will be open to any child 12 and under. Each child who participates will receive an awesome tshirt and also be greeted at the finish line with their very own custom finisher’s medal. We are excited about involving the entire family for race weekend!
Kids Race Day!
All races start at Wolf Pen Creek, next to Post Oak Mall. Start times for the Kid’s Marathon will be in waves as shown below beginning at 12:30 PM. We will start on time, so please plan to arrive early for your child’s race start.
Promoting healthy living in our schools
This fall, leading up to the BCS Kid’s Marathon, we will be partnering with both BISD and CSISD to establish a running program into every single elementary school in Bryan and College Station. By doing so, more than 13,000 kids will be running each week with the goal of totaling 25 miles between the start of school and the December race. The BCS Kid’s Marathon will represent the final 1.2 miles of this running program, finishing out the marathon distance. We hope all families – those local as well as traveling to town – will join us on December 10th to celebrate running for all ages.
