Play Like the Pros Charity Challenge?

Play Like the Pros Charity Challenge is an opportunity to play Glen Abbey on Monday July 31st – the day after the RBC Canadian Open, from the same tees, pin positions, and tournament conditions as the pros played! To gain access to this unique experience, interested golfers will raise money for junior golf through the Golf Canada Foundation


This year's goal is to raise $200,000!


How To Play Like the Pros? 

  1. Find your group and register
  2. Each member raises $625 (tax receipts apply) or $2,500 per team
  3. Get to the Abbey and Play Like the Pros!

*Limited space, the first foursomes to hit the fundraising target will gain entry into Play Like the Pros.

Rules and Regulations

What Is The Fundraising Component?

There is a MANDATORY minimum fundraising component of $625 per golfer ($2,500/foursome) to participate in the Play Like the Pros Charity Challenge. If you do not meet the minimum prior to your tee time, you will be charged the difference. All funds raised go to support junior golf programs in Canada.

Play Like the Pros is a 1pm shotgun start with registration opening at 11am.

All players must have verified Handicap Factor by Golf Canada. Tournament play will be 4-person team Stableford format. 

Scoring will assign Stableford points to the net score, and combine for team total. 


The Golf Canada Foundation strives to make an impact in every Canadian golfer’s life. Funds raised during "Play Like the Pros Charity Challenge" will go to support junior golf programs across Canada including:

  • Golf in Schools - Introduces golf to kids of all backgrounds and abilities in a fun and accessible way. Emphasizes the values and life skills to enjoy the sport for a lifetime.
  • CN Future Links – Adds the element of competition in a variety of formats, building fun and friendship at the club level.
  • Junior Golf Development Centres – Certified facilities specializing in full coaching and development programs for both recreational and competitive junior players.
  • The National Development Squad – Canada’s top under-19 players competing for Canada on the international stage.
