Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
ASD is a neurodevelopmental disability that leads to challenges with communication, behavior and social interactions that can persist througout a person's life. Currently, 1 in 54 children in Utah are identified with an ASD, about 2% of the population.
About Spectrum Academy
Spectrum Academy is the only charter school in Utah to focus primarily on the unique learning needs of children with ASD. Through small class sizes, individualized instruction and an innovative social skills curriculum, we help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially and emotionally, so they may enjoy productive and successful futures.
