Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.
Camp Sunshine is the only program in the nation offered year-round with the distinction of having been designed to serve the entire family in a retreat model. The program is free of charge to families and includes on-site medical and psychosocial support. Bereavement sessions are also offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.
Come out to Lake Dardenelle State Park and help Tropical Smoothie Cafe raise donations for Camp Sunshine! We will be hosting The Rise N Shine 5k and The Family Flip Flop Walk!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe presents our first ever Russellville Family Flip Flop Walk! Come out in your best pair of flip flops and walk the 1 mile course with your family for some fresh, healthy fun! Don't forget to grab a smoothie to sip while you're on the route!

Rise N Shine 5k Closed
The First Annual RIse N Shine 5k will be held at Lake Dardanelle State Park, all proceeds will go to Camp Sunshine. It is a timed a race with awards for top 3 female finishers, top 3 male finishers and top 3 finishers in the 16 and under age group. Come out and enjoy a smoothie or two, fun and games and give aways! We can't wait to see you!
