This event is free for Southeast Storm members. Non-members will be asked to pay a $20 fee at check-in to cover the cost of swag and food, but this amount will be fully credited toward an SES membership if you join SES within one week after the event.

This event is designed as a fun training day, and also to provide a non-intimidating atmosphere for anyone wanting to try out our sport. As was also the case in 2016, this event is not associated with TriNB and is not a TriNB sanctioned event. Neither TriNB nor its liability insurer will have any obligations or responsibilities in relation to this event. Again, as was the case in 2016, an insurance policy is being purchased through a reputable sporting events insurance company in relation to this event.

There will be swag, including medals T-Shirts and hopefully silicone swim caps. So that we don't over-order we are setting July 9 as the deadline for registering to receive a swim cap. And yes, we know that duathletes may not have much of a need for swim caps, but hey, it's free, you can give it to a triathlete, or you can use it as motivation to do a Tri for a future event.
