Umpqua Strong 9k & 5k Run/Walk

The Umpqua Strong 9k & 5k Run/Walk is an outlet for all those affected by the tragic events of October 1st, 2015 to display DETERMINATION, UNITY, and HOPE through a positive community experience. The event is a tribute to life and an opportunity to honor and encourage the people of the Umpqua Valley.
Rain or shine, on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 runners and volunteers will come from all around our region to run a scenic 9k race, participate in a 5k walk, and enjoy a kids race followed by awards. We also have an exciting program for Virtual Runners around the world to support UMPQUA STRONG and make their presence felt. It will be an inspiring, energetic event joined by generations and supported by local establishments.

Separate event from the 5k/9k. Fun run distances including 200m, 400m and 1/2 mile for those 12 and under. Held in Stewart Park after the 5k & 9k.

T-Shirt Guarantee
If you register and order a shirt before the cut-ff date of September 21, you are guaranteed a shirt before the race. If you register after the cut-off date of September 21, you may be able to pick up a shirt on-site as available on a first come, first served basis. If you register and do not receive a shirt, you may arrange pick up within two weeks directly from SeriGraphics in Roseburg, OR. Shirts will only be mailed if residency is outside the local area.
