INTRODUCTION
There is an increased prevalence of type 2 diabetes in our nation's population which is attributed to our unhealthy lifestyle choices, such as poor diet and lack of exercise. SEVEN Fitness Challenge is partnering with the Diabetes Association Of Trinidad and Tobago (Point Fortin branch) and the Rotaract Club of Point Fortin to raise awareness and create a sense of urgency about this growing public health crisis.
The event starts at the Coronation Park, Egypt Village Point Fortin and would take participants through the villages of Mahaica and Techier.
