Kayak and Paddle Board Support
Kayak and Paddle board support will be provided by the "By Land or Lake" kayak and paddleboard company. Additionally we will have independent boat escorts and a "sweeper" to make sure the last swimmer will be escorted in.

Run Course Comments
Although the run course will be open to traffic, the entire course has NO major intersection crossings. The first .7 miles leaves Chisholm Park on lightly traveled Rd, then ~ 1 mile on concrete sidewalk heading S. on Narcoossee Rd, about 2 miles on Rummell Rd with an ample shoulder, the remainder on multi-use path with no car traffic.
Relay Teams
For relay teams, bibs will be worn by runners only. Swimmers will just have body marking.
Transition
- Race personnel will tranport 1 gear bag for all individual racers approximately 30 minutes before race start.
- The gear bag will need to be externally marked with an initial, or the racers last name.
- Bags will be arranged at T1 alphabetically.
- Any swim gear will need to be replaced into gear bag before athlete leaves for run.
- Run shoes/socks etc... will not be removed from gear bag by race staff.
- Each athlete will do that upon completing swim.
- Transportation will be provided by race staff for relay swimmers back to Lakefront Park, but there is no timeframe. i.e. you may have to wait for a period if vehciles are en route. you may also arrange for your own pickup at Chisholm Park.
- After all swimmers have completed the course, race staff will transport gear bags BACK to Lakefront Park and finish line.
Time Limit
No time limit, although awards will start at 11AM.
Timing System
This is not a chip timed event. There is 1 mass start and a running clock at the start finish. Race staff will be recording finish times at the finish line. There will not be a timing clock at the swim finish.
Aid Station
Water and Gatorade will be provided at Swim finish in Chisholm Park, and approximately mile 2 and mile 4 of run.

Weather Cancellation Policies
This is a Rain or Shine event. No refunds or transfers.
Safety is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled. When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or future event credits, since funds were already spent in preparation for your event day.
