Kid's Race & Activities
The Ancaster Race is pleased to present its seventh annual non-competitive 1 km walk/run for children age 12 and under. All finishers will receive a race medal. What a great way to introduce young children to the fun and benefits of active living.
This event is dedicated to the memory of the late Jim Wilkins, high school teacher and track coach, Hamilton Olympic Club coach and mentor to many young people who had the good fortune to know him. Children should be at the start line (soccer field) by 6:15 pm.
Race Day Details
Registration will be open on Race Day from 5pm until 6:15 pm. Located in the Morgan Fireston Arena
Race bib pick-up is on Race Day only, from 5pm until 6:15 pm. Located in the Morgan Fireston Arena
AWARDS AND DRAW PRIZES will be at 8:15pm.
SHOWERS are available in the Rotary Centre.

Course
Traffic along the 5km and10km race routes
Jerseyville Rd (between Highway 52 and Martins Side Rd.) will be closed to all vehicular traffic between the hours of 6:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
All other roads along 5km and 10 km race routes will have restricted access, controlled by Hamilton Regional Police, to ensure the safety of the many race participants.
Parking
In/Out access parking throughout the event will be available at the Meadowbrook Entrance only at the Ancaster High School
Note: Meadowbrook Road entrance only.
Enter before 5:45 Exit after 9:00pm. parking available behind the Morgan Firestone Arena off Martin's Side Road.
