We’re excited to open registration for the 37th annual Calgary Police Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
This is Calgary’s first major run of the season and we’re gearing up to sell out this year’s half marathon, 5 km Run & Walk, and 10 km distances. We’re also partnering with the Calgary Police Foundation this year.
Proceeds from the race will be raised in a number of new ways, including sponsorship, corporate pledges and individual pledges. These critical funds allow the Calgary Police Service to work more closely with our community in developing and delivering programs which better address the needs of children, high risk youth and their families.
NEW! Register by noon on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 to guarantee your race shirt for pick up prior to race day. Register between noon on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and race package pick up, and you will still receive a race shirt. This order of shirts will be available for pick up at YouthLink, located at 5111 47 St N.E. on the following days:
- Friday, May 26 – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, May 27 – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, June 2 – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday, June 3 – 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Team members and friends can pick up race shirts on behalf of participants, if needed.
Registration transfers will be allowed until midnight Saturday, April 22, 2017 by emailing halfmarathon@calgarypolice.ca.
