Hibiscus Ride |

The Hibiscus Ride includes multiple routes all designed to highlight the beautiful scenery of Indian River County, including shore-line and lagoon views and historic Vero Beach neighborhoods.
The Hibiscus Ride offers a Metric Century with a designated route of 70 miles making it a Metric Century Plus. A 50 mile route and a half-metric 34 mile route will be provided as well as an 11 mile more casual route for riders interested in a shorter ride. All routes are subject to change.
There will be numerous designated rest stops along the way for riders to refresh with food and water!

Event Info
The rides begin and end at the annual Hibiscus Festival featuring two full days of art, music and food in Historic Downtown Vero Beach. All activities associated with the ride event will be shut down at 2:30 p.m.
This is a social event and not a race. Main Street Vero Beach (a not-for-profit) Vero Cycling, Inc. (a not-for-profit) ABSOLUTELY PROHIBIT ANY FORM OF RACING during this entire event. SAFETY for all participants is an ABSOLUTE PRIORITY to the organizers and operators of this ride. There will be ZERO tolerance for ANY FORM OF RACING. ANY participants who engage in, promote, encourage or condone any form of racing WILL BE EJECTED and denied any ride prizes or premiums.
Main Street Vero Beach (MSVB) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Florida Main Street program, part of the State Division of Historical Resources and is a member of The National Main Street Center a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Hibiscus Festival is a yearly celebration for the City of Vero Beach, to increase awareness of the historic downtown sector, raise funds for Main Street Vero Beach that work toward the preservation and growth of the area and encourages community participation from residents, organizations and businesses.
Vero Cycling, Inc. is a member based non-profit organization formed to promote cycling in Indian River County, Florida; to encourage all cyclists of all levels, from beginning to advanced; to advocate for cycling related interests; to promote safe cycling; and to encourage respect among cyclists and non-cyclists.

Riders are encouraged to park in the Indian River County Courthouse parking garage at 2000 16th Avenue.
The ride start is three blocks away. Streets will be closed for The Hibiscus Festival setup at 6:00 am.
