Thank you for your interest in the Third Annual True North Christian Academy Fun Run/Walk! This is your opportunity to run along the beautiful trails and beachfront of the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park with indescribable views of the longest freshwater beach in the world!
The Races:
Kids untimed 1km for children 10 and under.
Timed 5km out and back. Register as a runner or walker. Those who register in the walk category must walk the entire course. If you are planning to participate with a combination of running and walking, please register in the run category. Participants under the age of 12 require a paid adult to participate with them.
The Course:
This timed event runs on gravel trail, paved trail and packed sand for the 5km course. It is an out and back course that starts just outside the West entrance of beach area 5 and follows the trails through the provincial park to the East end of beach area 4 and back. The kids 1km run travels half a km along the gravel trail through beach area 5 and back.
Prizes:
All participants will receive a finishers "medal" made with love by the beautiful students of True North Christian Academy.
Age category trophies will be presented to the top three male and female finishers for the run category in the following age categories:
19 and under
20-39
40+
Trophies will also be awarded to the top three male and females registered in the walk category.
There will also be a bib raffle in which all registered participants in the 5km event will be entered for a chance to win some pretty awesome prizes!
Fundraising Perks:
For every $50 fundraised per participant, an additional raffle ticket will be provided and our top fundraiser will receive a special prize!
Swag:
All who register before April 30th will receive a free sports bag!
