Dartmouth Natal Day Road Races 2017
A Natal Day Festival Event and Run NS Series Event
We're glad you were able to join us for the 2017 Dartmouth Natal Day Road Race. The turnout was fantastic with over 1,000 runners crossing the finish line under sunny skies. To view complete results from both distances, select "View Results" on the menu to the left of this message. We hope you enjoyed the event and that you'll join us again on Monday August 6, 2018.
Welcome to the 111th Edition of the Dartmouth Natal Day Road Races. Our event is one of the oldest road races in North America. Competitive runners, recreational runners and walkers are all encouraged to participate. We take pride in being a fun and affordable event for the whole family. The course is a two mile loop and runners have the choice of running a two mile or a six mile race.
Both the 6 Mile and 2 Mile races are on the 2017 Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series and the 6 Miler is also on the 2017 Run Nova Scotia Performance Series. A $5 discount is provided for RNS members if they register online.
Online registration has closed.
You may register in person at Christ Church Hall on Sunday August 6th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. For on-site registration, the entry fee will be $25 for all adults and $5 for youth.
Registrations may be accepted on the morning of the race starting at 6:30 AM if we have not met our full capacity. However, no entries can be accepted beyond 7:30 AM

The course is open to traffic but is well controlled by police and course marshals for your saftey. After 9:30 AM we may lose some police support and traffic will be heavier as the number of participants on the course declines. If it will take you more than 1:15 to complete the race, please move to the side of the road and be cautious, particularly for the last mile along Portland St and Alderney Dr. The finish line will remain open until at least 10:00 AM.
