The Pride and Remembrance Run is a 5 km run, 3 km walk that take place each year during Pride Weekend. the Pride Run is a community run that raises funds for LGBTQ+ charities and projects. Our beneficiaries receive 100% of your donation!
Our 2018 Pride and Remembrance Run beneficiaries:
- Women's College Hospital - Transition-Related Surgery Compassionate Fund
- LGBT Youth Line - LGBT Youth-Connect
- Canadian Lesbian & Gay Archives - Digital Hub Project
- Pride & Remembrance Foundation
The Pride and Remembrance Foundation collects all donations, distributes them to the beneficiaries, and provides all tax receipts to donors.

Refund Policy |
The Pride and Remembrance Association is a 100% volunteer-run not-for-profit organization that owns and operates the Pride and Remembrance Run. Your registration fees cover the cost of operating the run. All entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable. Thank you for your understanding.
Baggage Check |
Baggage check is available at the 519 Church Street Community Centre from 8 AM to 12 noon.
Use your removable baggage tag on your bib and attach it to your bag.
Protect your valuables. The Pride and Remembrance Run is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items.
Bring your spare loonies and toonies; a $2 baggage check donation is recommended.
Course Safety |
Due to the number of participants in the Pride and Remembrance Run, and for the safety and logistic reasons, we regret that roller blades, bicycles and skateboards are not permitted in the run.
All registered participants must be 8 years of age or over on race day in order to participate. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers, baby joggers and pets are allowed in the second wave only.
