The Bartlett Lions are proud to present the 14th annual Lions Dash 5K/10K and Kids & Family Dash. The Dash has become a neighborhood tradition. The race was previously known as the Bartlett Lions Labor Day Dash. It is now the Lions Dash. Races start and finish across from Bartlett Village Hall in the Town Center area and the course takes runners and walkers through the lovely, tree-lined streets of Bartlett. Funds raised are used by the Bartlett Lions for those in need in our community. T-Shirts: TECHNICAL DRY-FIT RUNNING SHIRTS! All pre-registered 5K and 10K particpants are guaranteed a dry-fit shirt in their requested size. Tech shirts come in adult sizes only. Kids registered for the Kids & Family dash or those kids running/walking the 5K or 10K requesting child size shirts will receive cotton shirts. Shirts by availability with race day registration.

COURSE - 5K/10K:
The 5K/10K course is fast, flat, and fun. Specific details regarding the course route will be available on our website: and maps will be available on race day at the registration tables. The 5K course is 1 loop starting and finishing on Railroad Avenue; the 10K course is 2 loops of the same course, also starting and finishing on Railroad Avenue.

The Kids & Family Dash is a fast, fun, non-competitive race for kids of all ages. There will be two distances, 100 yard dash and 1/4 mile. It is recommended that children under 5 years old be registered for the 100 yard dash. Parents are welcome to run with their children, especially the younger ones. The goal of these short races is to encourage fun and fitness. Each participant will receive a participation medal.

Sign up for our TEAM CHALLENGE. Teams consist of four or more runners or walkers. There will be trophies awarded to the largest team in both the 5K and the 10K and trophies awarded to the fastest team in both the 5K and 10K. Teams must be registered before the race begins. Fastest team is based on the average finishing time of all those registered to that team. In past years you could only register teams at the race day registration -- this year you can add yourself to a team on race day or right here on Race Roster! So get your friends, family, neighbors or co-workers together for a fun TEAM CHALLENGE!

Participants may register for any of our races and the Team Challenge online until Wednesday, August 22 at 10:00 pm. You can also register on race day between 6:45 and 7:45 am at the race. Registration on race day fees increase by $5.00 for each race. Those registering after Wednesday 8/22/18 will not be able to participate in pre-race packet pickup and will need to obtain their number and goody bag at race day pick up.

Participants and spectators may park in the Village Hall parking lot on Main Street or just across the tracks in the Metra commuter lot.

Portable facilities will be available on Railroad Avenue adjacent to the start line.

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, 5K and 10K, plus the top three in the following age groups, male and female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over. Awards will be presented after the finish of the Kids & Family Dash. Participation ribbons will be given to all those that complete the Kids & Family Dash.

Participants that register by Wed. 8/22/18 at 10 pm will have the option of picking up their race numbers and goody bags at our Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Dick Pond Athletics 26W515 St. Charles Road, Unit A, Carol Stream, IL, on Thursday 8/23/2018 4pm to 7 pm, Friday 8/24/18 10 am to 7 pm, or Saturday 8/25/18 10 am to 3 pm. Race numbers and goody bags for pre-registered participants may also be picked up on race day morning 6:45 am to 7:45 am.
