Registration will still be available on site Saturday July 14, 2018. Again this year it will be at the beautiful Five Islands Lighthouse Park. It will be a Fun Filled Afternoon with music, face painting, demos and much more!
PLEASE NOTE: the 2018 run is on Sunday July 15 and not a Saturday as the 2017 run.

PLEASE NOTE: If you register by June 8 you will be guaranteed a shirt. It will be first come, first served. Again this year we will be having womens and mens shirts and not unisex!
IMPORTANT NOTE: After June 8 there will only be Men's and Ladies sizes Medium and Large to choose from and only while quantities last. Please note Age 12 and under 5k runners receive a youth shirt as well as Basket Run participants
Once or twice each summer on a weekend, the sea parts in the MinasBasin of Nova Scotia, dropping in six hours from 15 meters to nearly zero. When that happens, we start running. The 5K course loops out and back from Sand Point in Five Islands while the 10K course starts at Soley Cove and finishes with the 5k at Sand Point. Both runs have spectacular scenery! The Basket Run for the kids is a wonderful experience for those under 12. Buses will transport both 5k and 10k runners to their starts and parking for all (including volunteers and spectators) will be at the ball field in Five Islands, Highway #2 and well marked, with experienced volunteers directing you to your parking spot.
Children 12 and under cannot run the 5k without adult supervision!
Also please note that if for some reason you cannot make the run this year 2018, and you let us know BEFORE race day and not after, we can defer you for one year to 2019 as we can't do refunds.
