2018 Cultus Lake Triathlon

Sprint • Standard • Aquabike • Half Iron

The Annual Cultus Lake Triathlon is held each year at Cultus Lake Park just outside Chilliwack, BC. Located a 90 minute drive from Vancouver it is a great end of season race for both the seasoned and first time triathlete hosting Sprint, Standard, Aquabike & Half Iron races.

THE COURSE

The swim is in Cultus Lake with a waist deep water start and is divided into separate swim waves. The transition is located on the grass area between the lake and the Main Beach parking Lot on grass.

The bike course for the Sprint is out and back to Yarrow and a one loop course through Yarrow and out into farm country and back for the Standard distance event.  The course is mostly flat with a short climb out of the Park to start the bike and a short climb as you turn right on to Columbia Valley Rd just before you get back to transition at the end of the bike.

The run is alongside the lake and past summer cottages.

The race starts and finishes beside the lake at Main Beach and the post-race awards and lunch is held on site, weather permitting.

Refund And Rollover Policy

We understand that things happen, and because of that we have our policy below. If you are unable to race an event please let us know, we offer a full rollover to the following race year or a transfer to another series event if a request is made on or before 21 days prior to the race. The fee is $50 plus GST and RaceRoster online charge.

  • The fee does not include the entry fee difference if a request is made to transfer an entry to a longer distance race.
  • Requests for a rollover/transfer must come from the registered athlete by email. Please email support@dynamicraceevents.com
  • You will receive a confirmation email that your request for a rollover/transfer has been received.
  • No credit for transfer or rollover will be issued within 21 days of race day.
  • Event participation and entry fees are non-transferable to another person.

Please understand that we apply this policy to all athletes without predudice. Our desire is always to have 100% of our registered athletes on the start line, as we know this isn't always possible, we offer the above option that offers some compensation to a registered athlete that is unable to race while still enabling us to continue to produce quality, sustainable events.
