John Schultz, age 84, was killed crossing the street coming home from choir practice on Thursday, November 17th, 2016. John was a well known runner in the tri state area. Wearing his red shorts with no shirt was his trademark. John held Delaware state records in the following categories:
5 mile (80-84) 59:45 / 10k (80-84) 75:56 / 15k (80-84) 2:00:37 / 10 mile (80-84) 2:08:46
20k (75-79) 2:18 / half marathon (80-84) 3:11:37 / full marathon (80-84) 6:44:17
We hope you will join us on Sunday, April 22nd to honor John. Red shorts optional.
