Our story…

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Northern Virginia (NoVA NPHC) was established in 1978 and has grown to be one of the most active councils in the national council. Each year the NoVA NPHC has the goal of awarding two (2) $1,000 scholarship awards and (1) $500 book award to high school graduating seniors who plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university upon graduation. To be considered for this scholarship, eligible applicants must be graduating seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, be a resident of one of the following Northern Virginia Counties/Cities (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Fall Church, Manassas, Manassas Park, or Prince William), be identified by school guidance counselors (or career development director) as Black Scholars, and plan to attend the Black Scholars Awards Program in May 2019. Failure to attend the awards program may result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
