FREE entrance into the Park
Kids Dash -- 5K Run/Walk -- 10K Run
NOTE: DUE TO NARROW PATHWAYS, SAND AND 10K RUNNERS, STROLLERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE TRAILS AND ONLY ON THE ROADWAY FROM THE VISITORS CENTRE TO THE ROUNDABOUT AT THE TIP and BACK. THIS WILL BE APPROX 2.5KM-3KM.
8:45am - Little Hands Kids "HERO WALK"... honour and uplift kids and their families from our local community going through life threatening illnesses
9:00am - Kids 1K Fun Run
9:15am - 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run
WHAT YOU GET !!
* Enjoy a beautiful run/walk through the parks trails from the Visitors Centre to the tip of Point Pelee National Park
* Chip timed event by WRACE.
*Post-race refreshments
*T-shirts for pre-registered paricipants or until we run out!!
*Overall 1st, 2nd & 3rd Finisher awards for Male/Female 5k and 10k runners
(Juniors 10 yrs and under; Youth 11-15yrs; 16 yrs +)
*Medals for each participant
*Face-painting and more.....
So regardless of your physical fitness, age or experience, grab your friends and your running shoes!
We'll see you at the Starting Line!
Proceeds to benefit South Shore Christian school (www.southshorecs.ca), as well as Little Hands Kids (www.littlehandskids.org) which are both local charities in the Windsor-Essex County area.
