8:30 am - Start of 1/2 Mile Run/Walk
8:45 am - Start of 5K Run/Walk
Post race party with food, beverages
Entry fees:
$25.00 ( Age 18-64 ) Registered by Feb 14th , $30.00 after thru day of race
$15.00 ( Youth - Age 17-under or Senior age 65-over ) by Feb 14th, $20.00 after thru day of race
Family Discounted entry ( 2 adult, 2 youth division): $60.00 by Feb 14th, $70.00 after thru day of race
Team/Group discount Registration - Save $5.00 each when you sign up 5 or more participants.
ON-LINE Registration closes on Wednesday, Feb 14th at 11:00 pm
In person registration is available at the New Orleans JCC, 5342 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans
CHIP TIMED event: Please wear race number bib on front only, visible during the event. If picking up race number bib for others, please check name label on back of bib to assign race number bib to person whose name is on the label.
T-Shirts: Custom run/walk commemorative ( soft style ) t-shirts to run/walk entrants pre-registered. If reorder is required details will be announced and posted.
Awards:
1/2 Mile: 1st overall youth male and female. Medallions to all 1/2 Mile youth division finishers
5K: 1st Overall Open, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior, Youth division male and female and 1st, 2nd , 3rd place in age groups: 14-unde, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over
5K Race Walkers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female
The event management suggests that headphone, earphone any device that limits you ability to hear not be worn during the event run/walk.
