My Story…
Sadly earlier this year we suddenly lost a close yacht club friend Tom Brownlee and within the year two other friends Alan Turnidge and Dan Frank to Cancer. More recently my daughters close friend with 2 young boys 9mths and 2 years has been diagnosed with this awful disease. I am participating in this race with the hope that we can help stop more lives being taken from us too early. Although it is impossible to shield our loved ones from getting cancer, gifts made to support Cancer Care at St. Joseph’s make it is possible to be proactive in the fight against it. Together we can make a difference. Please help me reach my goal of $1250. Heartfelt thanks Helen.
