YOU’RE INVITED TO THE
10th Annual RCAF RUN
WHERE FEET TAKE FLIGHT
The annual RCAF Run features events for the avid runner, the fitness enthusiast, the pack leaader and families on the go. Sanctioned by the Manitoba Runner's Association, the RCAF Run offers Athletics Canada certified courses in the half-marathon (individual and two-person relay), the 10-KM and the 5-KM distances. Families looking for some active fun can also register for our 3 KM Fun Run.
Registration in timed races (half-marathon, 10-KM and 5-KM) include: a technical shirt, access to the RCAF Run Village, aircraft displays, skill demonstrations, family activities and post-race services. Registration in the Family Fun Run includes everything except a technical shirt.
All funds collected through registrations, on-line donations, and race shirt sales are in support of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services' Soldier On Fund and Military Families Fund (Support Our Troops).

3 km Family Fun Run/Walk Closed
Race shirts and race kits are not included in the registration fee for the 3 km Family Fun Run/walk. Participants in the 3 km Family Fun Run/Walk are required to check in at the Family Fun/Run Walk desk on race day for participation identification so please plan to come early to check in and enjoy all the family events and displays in our Race Village.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Can I wear a back-pack if I am running in the RCAF Run?
A. The safety and security of all participants and visitors is a top concern therefore no backpacks will be allowed on any of the running routes or on the flight line. A dry clothes check is available at the RCAF Run Race Village.
Q. Can I get a refund if I am unable to participate in the Run?
A. All entry fees are non-refundable. You can, however, transfer your registration to another person no later than May 23.
Q. Can I push a stroller in the Family Fun Run?
A. For safety purposes it is asked that only jogging strollers be used on race routes. No other form of conveyance (i.e. inline skates, bicycles, etc.) will be permitted.
Q. Can I run with my dog during the RCAF Run?
A. Animals, including dogs, are not permitted on an active flight line due to safety concerns. Service animals will be permitted within the Race Village only.
Q. Can my child use their bicycle on the running course?
A. NAV Canada (the country’s civil air navigation services provider), prohibits the use of any transportation device that is not under the direct control of an adult on open flight lines. Wagons, however, are permitted.
