Since 1958, LifeROOTS, a non-profit community-organization serving Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and the surrounding area, has responded to the increasing and changing needs of children and adults with physical, developmental and behavioral disabilities. Our innovative programs and services assist people of all ages – from infants to adults – to reach their personal goals. Today, LifeROOTS programs touch more than 1,500 individuals with disabilities and their families each year.

At LifeROOTS they focus on individuals and their specific needs. Their disabled adult clients and families have access to day rehabilitation (day hab), supported employment, job coaching, job development, literacy programs and much more. They offer children and families FREE early childhood intervention screenings, assessments and services from birth to age 3. They also offer other therapeutic and support services for children with disabilities including parenting classes, therapeutic and behavioral services and much more.

Of course we want you to participate in the Albuquerque Run Run Rudolph Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K event locally but we understand things come up. So, if you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal, socks and shirt then you still can! Here is your chance to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Please note that all items will ship following the event on December 2nd. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.

- Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the half marathon, quarter marathon and 5K (Race day participants only). Our age groups are the following:

- Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

- Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

- Course set/marked by StartLine Racing to maximize your experience!

• Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 8:00am.

• We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day

  • Race Day prices:
    • Half Marathon - $80
    • Quarter Marathon - $60
    • 5K - $50
    • Reindeer Dash - $25

• Strollers welcome

• Leashed pets welcome

• Reindeer dash will be an untimed half mile run. All Reindeer Dash participants will receive a medal, tech shirt, and socks.

• The course will take you over the Rio Grande River and along the dedicated running trails of the Paseo del Bosque Trail (all asphalt and concrete), starting and ending at the Shops @ Montano - meaning no need for transportation before or after the race (just to get back to your car!) Please note - this is an open use trail system and does not close for our event.

• Due to the common start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.

• There will be multiple aid stations along the course offering water, Gatorade and GU energy gels. There will also be portable restrooms at the start/finish area and along the course.

• There will be no refunds due to weather cancellations.

• This event is limited to 600 participants.

• Packet Pick-up is available on Saturday, December 1st from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Athlete's Edge (map).
