There won't be any major changes to the event this year but there will be some special surprises for our big anniversary run! The 1km "Tot Trot" was a HUGE hit so that will happen again this year. And, we will keep all the incentives that could mean BIG savings for you! Incentives like...
- Discounts for spreading the word on Facebook! Click the special link from the Race Roster registration site to share the event on facebook. Every person that uses your link to register means you get $5 back up to the full cost of your registration, which means you can run for FREE!!!
- Signing up in groups of 5 or more will get you a discount (must all register at the same time)
- And, if you collect $200 in pledges, we refund your registration and you run for FREE!!! So all you have to do is hit up 10 friends for $20 (that goes to local charities) and YOU run for FREE!!! Sweet deal!!!
This years charity recipients will again be the Blenheim Youth Center and The Word Of Life Soup Kitchen and we are hoping to have a little extra to spread around as well! Both of these charities are a major part of our community and do amazing things for our friends and neighbours in Chatham Kent.

The overall 1/2 marathon run and 5km race male and female winners will receive awards three deep.
The overall 1/2 marathon walk male and female winners will receive awards one deep.
The winners of ten year age groups male & female in the 1/2 marathon run and the 5km race will receive awards one deep.
The 5km race has a youth age group division that goes as follows: 1-10 yrs, 11-15 yrs, 16-19 yrs and the top runner in each age group receives an award.

The first 300 people signed up will get additional Trot To The Beach SWAG!!! (possibly a shirt or some type of running apparel, we'll know closer to the date)

POST RACE PARTY ON THE BEACH
Awards will be given out on the beach and a light lunch will be served. Shuttle buses will return runners/walkers to Blenheim when they're ready.
