TJ was diagnosed with Epilepsy just after starting 6th grade. As he's grown up we have been focusing on the things he can do in life and not on those things he had wished for including serving his country and joining the military. He is currently working at McDonald's in Elk Grove. His ultimate dream is to become a police officer and to follow in his stepdads footsteps of law enforcement. He has been seizure free for a year now, and the next step is for him to get his driver's license and to eventually pursue his dream of becoming a peace officer. It may take several years, maybe a decade but he's not quitting and not giving up for nothing- not even Epilepsy!
