Our 2nd Tri- County Tri Series Event brings you to the shores of Twin Lakes Recreation Center. This event is a great addition to your race season. It's a bit longer than a sprint distance - but not too much to fulfill an Olympic distance race.

Specifics about the event
This year is the 29th annual Twin Lakes Triathlon and is held at the Twin Lakes Recreational Area in Palatine, IL. Our race is a sprint triathlon with a 700 meter swim, 14 mile Bike and 4.5 mile run. The swim is held on site in our very own Donut Lake and then athletes will bike through Palatine, Rolling Meadows and Inverness and will finish the run portion back at Twin Lakes. Athletes can enjoy lunch or drinks on our deck overlooking the lake after the race at RoccoVinos onsite.
Village Cycle Sport will be onsite with bike mechanics available for some last minute adjustments, YMCA Bueller YTri will be volunteering and Runners High and Tri will be onsite to help start the race. Race starts promptly at 6:30am. Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended. Please register on active.com or by visiting our website, saltcreekpd.com.
