Discounts
Family's (minimum 3, maximum 6 participants) receive a 25% discount on each participant's registration fee.
Participants who register as part of a team receive a $5 discount on registration.
Youth (participants up to 17 years of age) receive a $10 discount on registration.
Registration and Processing Fees
Donations are eligible for tax receipts, but registration fees are not. All registration fees go to Sanctuary, minus Race Roster's processing fee of 6.5% + $1.25. You can defray that cost by making a donation when you register.
About Us
At Sanctuary we are becoming a healthy, welcoming community in which people who are poor and excluded are particularly valued.
This year we are running to raise $150,000 to support all of the activities our community undertakes through the year. This includes:
- Street outreach to offer water, snacks, socks, and survival supplies;
- Demographic-sensitive health care offered at our clinic by our two registered nurses and nurse practitioner, and doctors;
- Mentoring, advocacy, and referrals to help folks in our community find shelter and permanent housing, access treatment for addiction or mental health challenges, and secure employment;
- Celebrating life together at our concerts, plays, non-denominational church services, and other special events;
- Weekly family-style meals; and
- Empowering therapeutic arts and drama activities.
